1. Restricted jurisdictions
SNAPP does not provide services to customers, users, entities, events, billing addresses, or beneficial owners located in, organized in, resident in, or ordinarily operating from restricted jurisdictions.
Restricted jurisdictions include, without limitation:
- Russia;
- Belarus;
- Iran;
- North Korea / Democratic People's Republic of Korea;
- Syria;
- Cuba;
- Crimea;
- Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
- other Ukrainian regions, territories, or areas subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargoes;
- any jurisdiction restricted by OFAC, EU, UK, UN, Hong Kong, applicable local law, our payment provider, or our Merchant of Record.
2. Restricted persons and entities
We do not provide services to sanctioned persons, sanctioned entities, blocked parties, parties owned or controlled by sanctioned parties, or users acting on behalf of restricted parties. This includes individuals or entities listed on sanctions lists administered by OFAC, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United Nations, Hong Kong authorities, or other applicable regulators.
3. Screening and verification
We may request additional information to verify customer identity, location, ownership, billing details, beneficial owners, event location, and intended use. We may decline service, suspend accounts, cancel subscriptions, or reject payments if sanctions, export control, fraud, or compliance risk is identified.
4. Merchant of Record and payment provider restrictions
Our Merchant of Record, payment provider, banking partners, hosting providers, and compliance vendors may apply additional country, industry, product, customer, or transaction restrictions. Their restrictions may be broader than ours and may prevent checkout or service availability.
5. Dynamic sanctions environment
Sanctions and restricted country rules change over time. This policy may be updated as laws, provider requirements, and compliance obligations change. The current policy does not guarantee service availability in any particular country or region.
