1. Information we collect

SNAPP LLC is responsible for the personal data used to administer our website, accounts, billing records, and business communications. For that processing, SNAPP LLC acts as the data controller. When we process data on a business customer’s instructions, we act as its service provider or processor as described below.

Account and business information

  • name, company name, email address, telephone number, and business information;
  • account credentials, billing information, subscription information, and support records;
  • communications sent to sales, support, billing, legal, privacy, or other business channels.

Equipment and operational information

SNAPP may process technical and operational data relating to connected equipment, including device identifiers, device status, connectivity status, software version, configuration information, operational events, error logs, usage statistics, transaction or operational statistics, and telemetry information.

Technical information

When you access our website or platform, we may automatically collect IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, timestamps, session information, cookies and similar technologies, and security or diagnostic logs.

2. Payment information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers or Merchants of Record. SNAPP generally does not receive or store complete payment-card details. Payment providers may independently process information necessary to process payments, prevent fraud, issue invoices, calculate taxes, process refunds, and manage subscriptions. Their processing is subject to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • create and administer accounts;
  • monitor connected equipment and provide analytics or reporting;
  • process subscriptions, billing, support, and customer communications;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or policy violations;
  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We may use third-party providers for cloud hosting, database infrastructure, analytics, email delivery, customer support, security, monitoring, payment processing, Merchant of Record services, accounting, and professional services. These providers may process information only as necessary to perform services for us, subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to governmental or regulatory requests, protect our rights or property, protect users or third parties, or investigate fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms. We do not sell customer personal data.

6. International data transfers

SNAPP operates internationally. Information may be processed or stored in countries different from the country in which a customer or user is located. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual or legal mechanisms for international transfers of personal data.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and accounting records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably required.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security, and customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate security over their account credentials and connected systems.

9. Cookies and analytics

The public marketing pages do not load advertising or analytics cookies. The SNAPP account portal uses browser storage to maintain authentication and account preferences. Technical logs may contain IP addresses and browser information. Third-party checkout providers apply their own cookie policies. If non-essential tracking is introduced, consent will be requested where required by law.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, data portability, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

11. Business customers, end users, and children

Where SNAPP processes personal information on behalf of a business customer, that customer may act as the data controller and SNAPP may act as a service provider or data processor. Requests relating to that data should generally be directed to the applicable business customer.

SNAPP's B2B Services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the creation of SNAPP business accounts.

12. Business transfers and policy changes

If SNAPP is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and the current version and latest revision date will be published on this website.
